The City of Torrington, Emergency Medical Services will be sponsoring an EMT-Basic Course to begin January 12, 2010. The course will complete May 2010 and is conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 – 10 pm. In addition, some evening classes and weekend classes are required. The course also requires clinical and “ride-along” hours. Upon completing this course, the student will qualify to set for the State of Wyoming, EMT-Basic exam and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam. The cost of the course is $150.00. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 4th, 2010.
